Dynamics GP Error - Cannot drop the index 'taErrorCode.AK2taErrorCode' because it does not exist or you do not have permission

So you are upgrading GP and get the below error.

This is due to a missing index.

Script one out from a working machine and script into your 'troubled' environment. Be sure to also script in the primary key as well in case it is also missing.

Error: the stored procedure smgrantaccessonaccountmstr returned the following results dbms:0 Microsoft Dynamics GP

So you receive the above error on doing an update/upgrade.

You have re-run the grant sql script, change db owner, etc, multiple times.

Even reviewed the stored procedure.

Reason for issue:
-There is a mis-named table. Possibly with a period in the name.

Resolution:
- Just rename the table.
-Continue to utilities.

Voila!

An error occurred while loading or initializing an addin. Ask your administrator to check the Windows event log for more details. Dynamics will now close.

So you are trying to upgrade GP 2013 to GP 2013R2.

You launch GP and get the message as per subject.

When you check event viewer you get 'An exception occurred while trying to load or initialize the add in located at Excel Builder'

Reason for issue:
Your client gives you a mismatched database to GP folder.

To Resolve:
- Ensure the SLB from eone is installed
-Remove the excel related add ins from the Add In Folder in GP.
- Manually add the SLB module in the add remove of GP
-Launch GP. You will be fine.
